A previous thread about first tournament got me thinking...

Who is the most famous person you wrestled who became famous for something OUTSIDE of wrestling?

I have 3:

One guy I wrestled in college went on to train Brock Lesnar in UFC.  That was Marty Morgan.

Another guy I wrestled twice in college went on to coach junior college baseball and his first recruit/signee went on to be a big time major league ball player.  The guy I wrestled went on to become huge friends with this player and went on to open a gym and trains Major League Baseball players today.  The wrestler was Chris Mihlfeld.....the baseball player?.....Albert Pujols.

Last guy was a kid who I lost to three years in a row at the Lakeland Open in Minocqua.....finally beat him in 5th grade.  His older brother went on to become a head coach in the NFL and coached the San Francisco 49ers.  I'll see if anyone can come up with that name.....

Winner, winner!  Chicken dinner!

Bob Mariucci from Iron Mountain was the one I wrestled.  His older brother Steve was a heck of a qb at Northern Michigan before coaching in the NFL

Yup  ;D spent some time trying that sport/entertainment.

While in college my roommate brother was a big name wrestler and got me into that game. Trained for around a year and had much more profitable job out there plus having a kid as a teenager I needed to get a job ;D

"Competing," Whatever - not performing. Have you no respect?
Merely having an opinion doesn't necessarily make it a good one

I call it stuntman stuff. Had more injuries doing the entertainment that football, wrestling and hey guys watch this combined ;D brutal way of live for sure. Much respect to those seasoned guys still taking bumps.

Here is a quick note......when you see scars on pro wrestlers neck, front side, means they have hab a broken neck. Which basically all have had.
