Evan Wick!!!!!!

Just watched it. Wick's length is going to give people problems. He scrambles well as well. He got hosed on the riding point as well. He clearly broke away and took a shot, and they didn't give him an escape at all.

He also gassed Massa on top. He had two cradles locked up but couldn't take him over.

That said, wow. Huge win. I think he beats Wanzek too and ends up in the finals.

Zander Wick was awesome as well. He had McCrystal from Nebraska on the run. Probably could have gotten a stall call to tie it late, and was figuring it out on his feet.

I know it's December, but these guys are the real deal. Stickley also looked good against Chad Red, who is tough .

Didn't Massa beat IMar? I know he beat Issac Jordan.

Crone will get it going. The guy's gas tank is unreal.

Good day yesterday.  Both Wicks wrestling very well.  Great to know we have almost 4 more years with them. 

Christensen and Stickley also wrestling well.  Christensen beat Hughes and Breske and only loss was a decision to Jordan. 

Most of our other losses are to very highly ranked wrestlers. 

My post previously was not meant to be a knock on Breske, he has a lot of potential and I hope he has a great college career.

Just checked the results this morning!  Wow, these Badgers came to wrestle yesterday!  Everyone of them is our wrestling their seed like I thought they would!  Nice job Hunter Ritter!  If we get wins in this next round of consolations we are top 10 easy in this tournament!  Let's go Badgers!  Nice job coaches getting these guys ready!

It's been a fun couple of weeks for the badger wrestlers.  Great to see them having some early success and would like to see some more signature wins today like Wick over Massa.  I haven't watched any of the matches but it sounds like the Badgers are wrestling aggressively and that is great to hear.

Hunter Ritter lost in the round of 12 match.
Andrew Crone lost in the round of 16 consolation.
