Feeling nostalgic - last night was senior night and the last night for the boys to wrestle in the Stoughton HS gym.   :(

Coach read off some senior class stats - Varsity contributors - Model, Jenny, Louis, Klien, Helland

*Over 650 wins combined

*80-8 dual record

*3 time team state qualifiers

*2 time team state runner-ups

No Logan Moore wrestling for Sauk ?  That is a big missing part for Sauk in a close dual.

Yep. Heart breaker for our boys.  And, yeah...no Logan Moore was unfortunate.

I hate when my team loses, but I just want to say this:  I respect Waunakee's kids, coaches and fans.   This is a generalization and just my POV, but  over the years I have noticed (in wresting) Waunakee seems self controlled; they're good sports.  They were obviously excited to win against Sauk, but did not celebrate excessively IMO.  God knows it's as hard for most of us adults as it is for the kids to keep our cool when we care as much as much as most of us do.  So, for what it's worth, I wanted to say that.
