Saw a couple of UW Oshkosh and UW Whitewater guys mentioned.  Nice to see some pub for those teams as well.

Some of those weight classes are meat grinders to be sure  :o

dman

Nebraska isn't there as a team I believe.  Just those that are redshirting.

From Milwaukee to St Paris.

I saw D Caldwell's name in at 157 as well, should be interesting to see how he does!

So I'm guessing Iowa is the heavy favorite to win the team title.   Where do you guys think WI will end up?  If the Badgers show up to wrestle hard, I'm going to say they finish in the top top 5.

what about Peterson at 97 for Grand View?

Given the mention of his name, I checked out Grandview's roster (58 kids!!) and see that former (almost) Badger Justin Koethe is also there.
Merely having an opinion doesn't necessarily make it a good one

Saw that Koethe wrestled 184 last weekend!  Wasn't he supposed to be a 157 pounder?  That's quite the growth spurt!

At the Midlands each team is alotted so many slots in the tournament. At least the D1 Schools are. After that the tournament is an invite only tournament. Your coach has to petition to get you in, and usually if you are not in a D1 program you need to have a AA honor behind your name to get invited. Seeing Devin is not the starter for Grandview at 84 or 97 I don't think his school would be able to get him in.

Anybody know if WI is taking any extra's to Midlands?   There was some rumors of Robertson & maybe Lubeck going.  How many unattached wrestlers can the Badgers take along?
