If you had to pick a favorite at each weight, I think UW would be favored at:

133, 157, 184, 197, 285.  Nebraska would be favored at the other 5 weights.

I would give Robertson the slight edge at 184, since he beat Dudley this summer in Freestyle.  I know it is not folkstyle, but it does translate much better than Greco.

at 157 I know you made a mistake... so that is 6-4... so Bucky has to win 1 or 2 they are not favored in and not give up more than 4 at 125, 157 or 174... people can call me negative all they want, I'm realistic and this dual is favored towards Nebraska by at least 3-4 points but Bucky can win if they really come to wrestle.

I meant 165, not 157. IMO, we should be favored in 5.

got it, I would say 184 is a virtual tie, so I say 4-5 with 1 toss and they will get bonus in at least 2... so we need to win 1-2 toss and or get a lot of bonus to win.

I am looking at 21-16 Neb so UW needs to swing one match to get the 19-18 win. Should be a great dual!

I bet 165 is a decision. Wilson is going to wrestle tough (always does), and will know how to avoid getting bonuse'd. Donar, on the other hand, will probably get majored or pinned. Kokesh by fall at 174, that dude just does not stop! I do no think Wisconsin has the horsepower needed to win this dual
Why would you expect Kokesh to pin Cousins when he beat him 9-3 at the Cowboy open?

Sorry I lost my head. I should know better than expect facts to get in the way of a good story on any sports or other forum.

I would think a pin because this is a dual, and not a tournament. Nebraska will need the points, Kokesh will wrestle accordingly.

125: Lambert Dec. Jimenez 3-0 NEB

133: RT Dec. Montoya 3-3 TIE

141: Abidin Dec. Thielke 6-3 NEB  <---- Tossup depending which Thielke shows up

149: Lubeck/Crone Dec. Arthur 6-6 TIE <---- Tossup

157: Green Tech. Donar 11-6 NEB

165: Jordan Fall. Wilson 12-11 WIS

174: Kokesh Mdec. Cousins 15-12 NEB

184: Robertson Dec. Dudley 15-15 WIS <---- Tossup IMO

197: McCall Dec. Barnes 18-15 WIS

285: Medberry Dec. Jensen 21-15 WIS

I think this dual will be razor thin and one upset somewhere in this dual will decide it.  Could very well end up being a tie and decided by criteria.  I feel very confident about WIS at 133, 165, 197, 285 in this dual.  JJ at 125 could pull an upset too, not enough sample size of him to form my opinion yet, he wrestled rodriguez tough. 184 will be the key matchup in this dual i think, Ricky is right there and he's slick, Dudley is a horse though so I'm very excited for this matchup.  Hope to see Lubeck back and full strength at 149.
Robertson 184 took Dudley in Vegas over the summer

WW_1995

I expect JJ will be right in his match at 125.

Lets hope RT continues to keep adjusting to the new weight and improving as he has been, he's been looking good.

How is Lubeck looking back up at 149? He will have his hands full with Arthur from Nebraska who lost early in vegas and wrestled all the way back to 4th place. Looking forward to that matchup.

Hope Thielke is settling in to 141, we will need him to be on his top game to beat Abidin. Any word on if he is looking bigger? Heard he looked pretty small his first time out at 141.

Would be a big win for the team if Donar can hold Green to a Mdec. he's been looking good lately.

Zeke will get bonus points for us, hopefully he can slap a nasty cradle like that onto Wilson and get the fall.

Cousins will keep it close, he lost to Kokesh by dec last time, no reason he can't do it again.

Ricky will win this match i believe, has won prior matchups out of season, will be a good match Dudley is no slouch.

McCall has been looking good this year, he will beat whoever Nebraska sends out.

Medberry has always been solid and he'll win comfortably here.

So honestly a W is pretty likely IMO I think we are favored at 133, 165, 197, 285 for sure. At 125, 141, 149, and 184 I think these matches will all be close, but a slight Nebraska lean in most of them except 184 i'd say is still a tossup. We just need a win or two depending on bonus points from those 4 matches, as 157 and 174 are heavy Nebraska favorites with potential of big bonus points at 157.

What time is the match?
