25-9 Pitt. Final...

No wonder Lee chose Pit over WI. The Penn State matchup is going to be brutal.

brutal might be putting it nicely

Maybe Lee thought he couldn't beat Lubeck or Crone ?

Ghetto

Jiminez and Taylor losing are surprises to me. Makes the score look quite a bit better if those two guys win.
As long as we are keeping score, I've got something to prove

leg turk

Barry must not of had the boys ready to wrestle.  Maybe tomorrow.

yeah... but they didn't :)

maybe Taylor should have gone for the medical RS, the season will only get harder from here. I hope he is just out of shape but why would he be? Hasn't he been in the room and practicing for a bit?

Anywho, I wonder if we will see a change at 157, I know what happened in the wrestle off but Scharenbrock has had some good results and TJ looks like he lost it a bit the last couple weeks.
I am not in danger, I AM the danger!

25-9 Pitt. Final...

285 Ryan Solomon (Pittsburgh) over Brock Horwath (Wisconsin) (Fall 1:29)
125 Lorenzo Bentley (Pittsburgh) over Johnny Jimenez (Wisconsin) (SV-1 14-12)
133 Dom Forys (Pittsburgh) over Bradley Taylor (Wisconsin) (Dec 10-6)
141 Mike Racciato (Pittsburgh) over Luke Rowh (Wisconsin) (Dec 9-4)
149 Rylan Lubeck (Wisconsin) over Robert Lee (Pittsburgh) (Dec 3-1)
157 Ronnie Garbinsky (Pittsburgh) over Timothy Ruschell (Wisconsin) (Dec 4-2)
165 Isaac Jordan (Wisconsin) over Cody Wiercioch (Pittsburgh) (Dec 4-3)
174 Te`Shan Campbell (Pittsburgh) over Richard Robertson (Wisconsin) (MD 13-5)
184 Ryan Christensen (Wisconsin) over Zach Bruce (Pittsburgh) (Dec 2-0)
197 Nick Bonaccorsi (Pittsburgh) over Eric Peissig (Wisconsin) (Dec 5-3)

First time with the "A" line-up and only get three wins by 2,1, and 2 vs. Pitt.  If they were trying to get Penn State to look past them, this should help.  I assume the Badger wrestlers are more disappointed than the fans.

Where is Hammen to tell us how it really isn't that bad? This is an embarrassing performance.

BuckyMatt

Didnt sound like they were ready to wrestle today. This can't be acceptable. Tomorrow could be brutal

hammen

Lost a lot of the close ones and gave up some big bonus points. Not good. Wasn't able to watch but would love to hear from someone who did. I wouldn't want to be on that bus ride to State College today. Hopefully they bounce back and have a better performance tomorrow. Penn St is miles above Pitt when at full health.

There were some head scratching results here.

All there wins were close ones as well, could just have easily been shut out

I thought Lee was recruited to be 41 but has won the spot at 49. I bet he isnt cutting much at all to make 49.

He sure would have looked nice at 41 with a W on his chest but.........

Maybe Penn State throws a bone the UW way.

Not sure but we could get blanked if this performance carries over though I have hope.

Robert Lee's father has said on this forum that Barry and Crew persued him heavily and he had an offer from UW but chose Pitt. Tough kid who works very hard.

stp

A very mentally tough time of the season, right before break.
