It would appear the Pack needs to plan on winning out, including beating Detroit at home, to have a 1st round bye...

I would expect Detroit to win out coming in against Green Bay; and a tie record gives the advantage to Detroit as they would have 2 wins against Green Bay if that happens.

We can suffer a loss at Buffalo but must beat Detroit at home. We would then be tied on 1 and 2 but would hold the tie breaker on 3. Packers lost to New Orleans (Detroit beat) and Detroit lost to NE and Carolina (Packers beat). Conference would be the same (#4) and strength of victory, Packers lead the lions by 100 points if for some reason it came down to #5. We obviously lose a tie breaker with Seattle for Home field if we each have 4 losses, looking like AZ might keep sliding as well.

TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION

If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined.

Two Clubs
1.Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
2.Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
3.Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
4.Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
5.Strength of victory.
6.Strength of schedule.
7.Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
8.Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
9.Best net points in common games.
10.Best net points in all games.
11.Best net touchdowns in all games.
12.Coin toss

Tie-breakers are not going to matter.  The Packers are not only going to win out and have a first round bye, but Arizona is done without a QB and will fall from the playoffs.  Packers will receive the first round bye and home field advantage IMO.
