That looks like the same practice room that Lee Kemp and Jim Jordan
used and they were both superior wrestlers.

Ya, look how Rocky Balboa trained... He didn't need anything fancy smancy.

The facilities are actually a million ties better now than when I was a freshman. The room size is also much bigger, and the plan is to make it bigger yet. There are some pretty sweet rooms out there, but we are definitely in the top half of the B1G. Minnesota's is pretty poor given their program. Penn state's is probably better than michigan's. Michigan is just too far from the other athletic facilities, whereas you have the Minnesotas, Iowas, and Wisconsins that have theirs connected to most other athletics. Wisconsin's is particularly convenient for lifting, running, and other workouts beyond wrestling. The library and all training rooms are right in Camp Randall as well. Pretty convenient. We've been trying to get a different/new room for. Whole, but it's not an easy task. More booster $ would help, even when we've had extremely generous boosters help with the huge upgrade in current facilities we have. I wish I won the lottery so I could give to the program, but in a decade or so hopefully I won't need the lottery to help this program financially.

I've always advocated for chicken training. Next year for nationals, we should book a trip to Siberia. Nothing like running on mountains and splitting wood to getchya in shape for rasslin' or boxin'.

I think our wrestling room should dump the mats and put in two professional rings. Three ropes high, clap boards to kaboom whenever someone falls on it. Get these boys ready for the pros.
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

That's probably one of the selling points to recruits on why they have a 30+ year old wrestling room.
Heck, at the least Barry could afford to put in a drop ceiling.

Need to hang up some meat in there.  Use it as takedown dummies.  Yo!   ;D

And my understanding is they had to walk 2 miles every day to campus, uphill both ways.

Martinez doesn't have the muscle to defeat a freshman Kemp.
AT least I'm going to stick with that thought.
