Hey quad do not worry about LL. So, full disclosure here; he is a numbers guy nothing more nothing less......

Coming from a guy who tries and regularly fails to be a "words guy," I'm not sure how you take that.

Don't take offense I simply am saying you lean on stats allot and draw many conclusions from those stats.

So is anything being done to correct this problem this year?

I seriously doubt it. I like the idea of making regional assignments during the season. Outside that maybe you can move a town?

Regionals are designed to have the area schools wrestle and then move to a sectional. It really sucks when several area schools are so good that regional cannt showcase all of then at state.

It not only happens on the east side, us west siders have stories of teams losing by less than 2 points at regionals to teams that have gone on to the team state finals. It is a flawed system that needs to be fixed some how. I have ideas and have taken them to the wiaa but...........
If life is tough,,,,wear a helmet

Luke, don't make Quad feel bad. Quad is a good guy... I know you're better with research and you do great work.. but quad is trying. He's also an LC guy.

Brillion will be very close with WT, as will LC, who's got some guns coming in. Would be a fun dual.

Levi Galoff (220) is also someone on Brillion's team, once a state placewinner, lost in regionals this past february to 2 state place winners i believe. Brillion didn't lose any guns and they'd be in the mix with WT and LC, as long as this darn season happens..

I hope you are all having a good Friday

DarkKnight

just for comparison sake on who LC, WT, and Brillion has coming back:

1. Grant Geiger (Brilion) 3 time state qualifier, 5th at state in D3

LC ???

138:
1. Ryan Rothieaux (LC) 28-15
1. Isaiah Pennenberg (WT) 26-10
2. Brillion ???

145:
1. Garnett Stebane (Brillion) state runner up
2. Tristan Thiry (LC) 21-18
3 WT ????

152:
1. Isaac Blohowiak (LC) 22-16, state qualifier
2. Karter Trace (Brillion) 28-15
3. Ethan VandeHey (WT) 19-7

3. Brillion- graduated

Brillion could hold the upper hand on WT in 8 weight classes, and 8 weight classes on LC. of course it's tight and some matches would be toss-ups.

This is just a comparison of last year so doesn't completely predict anything, its just a comparison that indicates they will be pretty close

thequad

Just again to compare how other will effect the regional!
