Wisconsin wrestlers in the portal:
Brayden Sonnentag - 141
Sam Mitchell - 197
Zane Licht - 165
Devin Wasley - 184

So our best wrestlers next year are 125 Rivera and 149 Zargo?  Is there even another NCAA qualifier on the roster?
Of Course, this is only my opinion and no one elses!

What is more likely?
5 qualifiers or someone at least in the blood round?

WrestlerSB80

Doc- Unfortunately, I don't believe so.

Numbers - At least one in the blood round. Would be my pick.

Much more likely to get 5 qualifiers.

I think 133 Zan Fugitt has a chance and what about Braxton Amos?

I see Zargo qualifying, that's about it.

Last year was rough but this upcoming season could be just plain awful. Unless they is a huge pick up in the TP I see a lot of pain as a badger fan

DocWrestling

I don't see Zargo or Rivera getting near the blood round.  Nobody on the team will crack the top 15 in rankings. Zargo will be only guy that could be seeded hire than 20th at NCAA tournament.  Zargo will also be our highest finisher at Big Tens by maybe taking 6th or 7th place
Of Course, this is only my opinion and no one elses!

125-Rivera
133-Bobzien
141-Fuggit
149-Zargo
157-George
165-Mechler
174-Hamiti Model
184-Condon
197-Russo
285-Amos Rosnefeld

That is a painful long season, worse then the mens hockey team until a great turn around this past season. Maybe Bono can pull off a massive change and transfer year and make it into something. Character wise there are some great guys on this time and in the room.

If they don't go after guys in the portal I don't see them doing anything to improve in conference or ncaa tourney. It will be a tuff year to watch.
Really? Think, Wow!

Dillan Johnson should be a much better option than Rosenfeld if he wrestles next year after FB season, which I think is his plan.

I heard that Amos injury isn't to bad and should be back on the mat soon. I thought Amos may make the move to HWT.

Is it possible that Bono could break Davis' record with the least amount of points scored in the Big Ten Tournament, 9 points in 2012?

Amazing that team scored 9 points.  The over/under was probably 1.5!

Tobin came in 9-18 and won a consolation match in OT.

Ben Jordan (28-12)lost first round and came back for 7th to keep the AA streak going! Beat Mike Evans (#5) of Iowa first round of consolations 3-2.  Beat Andrew Sorensen (#3) Iowa State 6-2 in the blood round!
