Nice win by Johnny. That's the Johnny we need. HUGE dual win by the Badgers.

I fixed it for you Drew

Great team effort.
Have to give them credit.
Maybe the Badgers can beat Minnesota.

Haha thanks Harris - much appreciated! These road trips are always difficult mentally. It's a good sign going forward - the guys let loose and seem to be clicking right now. Bring that back to the field house in about 40 hrs!

Rutgers wrestling captures trophy in win vs. Princeton

What are the chances the Badgers get the win against Rutgers? I was way more confident a couple weeks ago. I'm starting to get a little wobbly. This would be a nice win for the Badgers.

Should be tight. I would expect a 6-4 (either way) or 5-5 match. Rutgers favored at 41, 57, 97, and Hwt. UW favored at 33, 65, and 74. Toss ups at 25, 49, and 84. Might need JJ, AC, and RC to come up with wins. Certainly capable.

I think Rutgers will take 7 or 8 of 10 with bonus points at 2 weights.

Hmmm...

Ruschell almost pulled off the win at the end to lose by 1. Zeke controlled 4-0. Ricky wins 4-3.

I think TJ got screwed. I thought that was a takedown at the end. Looked like he could have called it about 3 times but especially right at the end. The official and the table struggled quite a bit in this match. Lots of riding time issues with the table.

Big Congrats to the Badgers. What a team effort, probably best dual they have wrestled in a few years. On a night where they needed everything to go their way... it did. The won all the toss ups and earned bonus points but did not give any up. Even the matches they lost the wrestlers where in the match until the end. Very good performance, I hope they carry this over for the next couple meets, if they wrestle like this they will beat MN. Great match by JJ, probably the highlight of his career to this point. Well done.

Agreed. And when it went to the review I knew it would stay uncalled. Unfortunate because TJ had that match. Hope he brings it Sunday. He can beat Kingsley - two good mat wrestlers going at it.

Based on how the team was wrestling and the match-ups and being in NJ this was the probable outcome. I also didn't know if RR was wrestling as he did not last time out. We only won 3 of the matches by 5 points... if they wrestle it again I could be right the next time.

Do you see us ahead of them at the B1G?
