Anybody know how well we match up with these guys? Hoping the Badgers can get a Big Ten win here tonight!

NW has a chance at 141, 157, 197 and 285. Don't see them winning any other weights.

Their best wrestler is at 133 but he's redshirting. And, it's hard for NW to compete since Michigan hired away several of their best guys.

Their 84 is solid and will be a tough match for Shane but a match he should win.

WS has it as 7-3 for the UW and I think the Badgers would win 5 on the low side and 9 on the high side.

Their 84# beat MSU this year, solid for sure.
Is Zargo able to go? Can we limit bonus points at 41 (WS has in our favor), 57, 97, Hwt? Get our Bonus points at 25, 33, 65, 74?

According to coach Bono, Zargo sat out on Sunday because he had a fever and not feeling well. Coach said he wanted to go but was basically on weight without even trying and the coaching staff thought it was best to hold him out. Should be fine for this weekend.

Hopefully Felix could not only limit bonus but even win that match and get his first Big Ten win. His opponent is 1 of the weaker 141's in the conference. I think Otto has a shot too. This will be the weakest 197 he has faced this year. I expect Gannon to win tonight. I think he really found something last weekend and Jessen is not big. Wrestled the first part of the year at 197 and has been a 184 in previous years. Got teched by Nebraska's other HWT last Friday who has been splitting time with Hutmacher who Gannon wrestled last Sunday. Mechler is going to have a tough go of it. Chumbley is tough and really does not lose to anyone outside of the top 25. Much tougher to see a path to victory in this one. Conserving bonus is probably the best realistic outcome at 157.

I was wrong and I'm glad 😀

Nice job by Zan up a weight. I assume they are not going to burn his redshirt so he should have 1 more match available. Based on the upcoming schedule I would think he would get the match Sunday against Purdue or the match next Sunday against Illinois.
