Triton College Wrestling

OUR PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL TRAINING FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO MAXIMIZE THEIR MAT TIME. WE WILL NOT COMPETE AS A CLUB.

Beginning Tuesday, April 1, Triton College will begin hosting weekly training in Freestyle and Greco Roman for all those who are interested in supplementing their current training in either or both disciplines.

On Tuesdays from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m., we will run our Freestyle program. The program will be lead by Neil Posmer, head coach of Elmwood Park High School, former D-I national qualifier, Illinois place winner and Senior and Espoir national participant. Assisting him will be De'Andre Nunn, former US Open place winner, Northern Iowa student-wrestler and 2004 IHSA state champion, as well as the Triton College Wrestling staff. We will also host various former World team members and medalists at no extra cost.

On Fridays from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m., Triton College alum, 2x Olympian, Pan Am Games champion and World silver medalist Michial Foy will run our Greco Roman training. He will be assisted by the Triton College Wrestling staff and other former World Team members.

This training will run from Tuesday, April 1 and run every Tuesday and Friday through Friday, June 13. All ages are welcome to take part, but we strongly request that participants have prior wrestling knowledge and ability.

The charge for all of this is $50 and participants must have a valid USA Wrestling card.

Triton College is located in River Grove, a near western suburb of Chicago. The wrestling room is located in the basement of the R Building (Collins Center) which is situated on the east side of campus, directly north of the baseball field. http://goo.gl/maps/pqjiy
