Was similar to the Zain/Yianni review. Went back 36 seconds into the match for a review on NF after Evan scored.

Overall have to be happy with the results so far.  Some big matchups today that could mean a lot for seeding in March.

Nope.

Ref #18 stall calls are terrible today in the three matches I have watched so far with him on the mat.  Hope I do not see him on a mat at NCAAs.

Krattiger was clearly the aggressor but yet was the one who lost by a stall point. Very frustrating. It sucks that all 3 of Barnett, Sharenbrock, and Krattiger lost in the blood round but overall they did wrestle very aggressively and well for a tough tournament. Seems like the only question mark now is at 197.

Yeah. The coaches have to emphasize circling around the edge, rather than taking any small step backward, as they've been really punitive there, even if it's a natural wrestling motion (sprawl, etc).

I have not questioned any refs stalling calls this weekend other this one.  He let's guys back up for 90 seconds straight if you stay on the mat.  Then he will penalize the aggressive wrestler if he steps out of bounds first after the opponent just gave up 30 feet to the edge.

Tough loss.  I am hopeful both Gross and Wick can clean things up on their feet against the top guys.  They will win almost every match if they can just keep things even on their feet with how good they are on the mat.

Disappointing seeing the forfeits - hope that everyone is okay medically....
