I was looking through Netflix yesterday and I came across the movie Dangal. It is in my opinion the best wrestling movie I've seen. Yes you have to watch with subtitles. It starts a little comical. It has the best wrestling sequences in my opinion. Its about two sisters from India. Great movie.
I liked it as well.

Awesome movie
Just watched it last night. Great find.
Available anywhere besides Netflix?
I have not watched it, but i couldn't disagree with you more.

Don't worry, it wasn't as good as Vision Quest.
Well, Vision Quest is the paradigm. That blond guy that used to coach Muskego was the spittin' image of the coach in VQ. It was uncanny. Dressed the same....gives me chills thinkin' about it.
I thought it was better than Visionquest.

...but, was it even better than Cats? ;D
I just reserved that Dangal movie at the Public Library! Looking forward to it.
Yeah, Vision Quest is in our collection....more about a guy getting it on with an older gal than wrestling, but still something that moves a guy.
Kind of liked Win Win.
I thought Reversal was a bit disturbing.

Never saw it...that John Smith movie?
No, it's a dad living vicariously through his son and making him cut tons of weight; and the kid getting sick of wrestling (I forget the term Nat Pope uses)by the time he's in high school/college. Sort of over the top. Over the Top, now there's a wrestling movie. Hudson Hawk is BA!
I believe the term you're looking for is HEW, Had Enough Wrestling.
I'd call it more like HEC (enough cutting.) Thanks, though.
