A lot of teams are through the first competition under COVID.  Let's share some ideas of things that worked or didn't work to make this season the best we can for our wrestlers, parents, fans, coaches, and officials.

A few things I noted from week 1:
- The lighting from the solo spotlight makes viewing much harder for fans/parents that are at home and watching online.
- Camera views from higher in the bleacher are easier to watch for fans at home than a matside camera.

- Our wrestlers seemed confused with what to do when they met at the center during introductions or at the end of the match when they would typically shake hands.  What worked for you?

Glad we are back on the mats!

This belongs in the main forum.

Video - great that schools have the option but if you are going to use a two mat system, the YouTube video of half a mat sucks.

If you are going to have two mats down, use a dry cloth behind the spray as the mats tended to still be wet without one.

There are a variety of masks out there. Some stay up quite well, others are garbage and interrupt the match frequently. Get some good masks for your team.

We had no interruptions for masks coming off but a few kids did say they had headaches after wrestling.
