Listened to this guy growing up. My parents had the radio on often.  He had many shows.  Each year he'd talk about th buzzards returning to Hinkley, Ohio.  http://cleveland.about.com/od/clevelandareaparks/p/buzzards.htm
Most recently you may have heard him advertising assisted living place near Milwaukee.
Gordon signed off for the last time today I guess.  :0(
