Couple of interesting weekend match-ups -

@ Pieper Duals   ----- (Teams - Evansville, Stoughton, Madison La Follette, Richland Center, Elkhorn, Marshfield, Fennimore) Should be some great matchups in the lower and mid weights here.  The Stoughton vs Fenimore match will feature 4 state champs in the first 7 weights.    Team wise - Evansville maybe Stoughton's biggest challenge this weekend.

@ Wausau West   ----   (Teams - Wausau W, DeForest, Eau Claire North, Edgar, Rhinelander, Spencer, Tomah, Wittenberg-Birnamwood)  Some good talent across the board, Looking forward to seeing the Deforest / Wausau matchup  --  good chance for Deforest to making it's statement out of the gates.

@ Watertown   ----   (Teams - Watertown, Sauk Prairie, Fort Atkinson, Badger, Beloit Memorial, Catholic Central, Clinton, Waukesha North, Westosha Central, Winneconne, Whitewater) Should be a good individual tourney, but probably will have Sauk winning it by 100+

@ East Troy   ----   (Teams - East Troy, Cedarburg, Cudahy, Green Bay West, Milton, Union Grove, West Allis Central, Harvard, Whitnall, Kenosha Indian Trails, Horicon, St. Lawrence)  Nice dual to start the year,  Milton shouldn't have much of a challenge at this early season dual, it will be interesting if any of the teams can keep it close.    Milton by 25+ points at least..

Monona Grove / Mcfarland kicked off it's first full varsity season since the formation of the new coop.   Rough night for this young team against a more experienced La Follette team, but you can see they are well coached and with as many freshman they were starting, things look bright in the years to come.   Many of these wrestlers were very competitive in these matches before the falls.   They had a very good fan base / following last night considering competing against a Packer game.
