JJ is now over 17 matches; TJ is at 16 matches now I believe.

17 is the threshold to qualify for a NCAA slot for the conference and to be eligible for an at large berth.

Hopefully they can qualify for nationals now so that it actually pays off.

You are prolly miles ahead of me on this; I have not counted or even looked ...... that said remember the magic number of 17 has to be against D1.  Some of the matches at Loras Open were for sure not D1.  Don't remember about Midlands.  Me thinks Edinboro was all D1.

Could be true. But they still have a few duals left as well.

leg turk

How does the Big Ten tournament work, if you lose the first one, are you done?  If not, they would get a minimum of 2 matches there.  Plus, they got 4 regular d1 duals left.

I did not realize it was a D1 calculation only.  At the Loras Open, 2 of 3 of JJ opponents were D1; none of TJ were D1.
If the rest of their opponents this season were D1, that puts it at 17 for JJ and 13 for TJ.
