That and the famers market will often have Hmong farmers who have the BEST fresh garlic (tiny cloves; but so much more flavor than any other garlic) basil, etc. The IndoChinese store in La Crosse is unreal, also. Now we've got nice little Mexican stores popping up. Throw in the unreal produce the Amish bring and I've never eaten so well.
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

Fresh Thai Dragon Peppers!  Best stir fry hot pepper out there.  I finally just grew my own last year rather than going to the farmer's market every week.
