Chase Tupper from Crandon HM 145 got beat 2-1 in regional semi by Josh Siebold from Florence.  Both seniors.  Siebold faces Alec Smith from Elcho, HM at 152 who dropped down to 145 in the final.  Siebold came in at 7-4, so I did not see this one coming.  Respect to Josh.

Final score was 12-11.  Yikes!  What a battle that must have been. With Karban in the final from the top bracket, Ebert may very well not get a wrestleback either!  Sokolski would have to end the day by beating the number one and number two in the rankings.  Weird how you lose to a kid and then become his biggest fan.  Either way, 1 or 2 isn't getting out of the regional today.

Ebert must have overlooked him. I'm 99.99% sure his year is done.
I consider Handrick to be Karban's biggest threat at D3 160.

Brock Allen, ranked #2 at 182 in D1 for Deforest was caught in a cradle by Neumaier from Sauk Prairie and was stuffed.

Ouch. but he stills gets to go to sectionals, correct?

This year is the last dance for Karban and Handrick.  Seems like I've been seeing them for even longer.  Ebert is only a junior.  So is Solkoski.

Yep, the top 4 move on and I'm sure he'll get at least 3rd.

It appears that Becker from Johnson Creek beat Hanson from Deerfield in the 113 finals at Parkview, 2-0.

This doesn't really fall under the category but why aren't Brock Benitz, Peyton Einerson, or Jordan Scalice wrestling for Rapids?
