What area is best to stay in Cincinnati?  Passing through tomorrow night and need to find a room.. wondering what area is best to stay in.  Going to Reds game at 7pm, then next day to Asheville, NC ...
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance...

Let us know what's better, the Skyway or Gold Star chili.
SkyLINE chilli.... First I've heard of it...

Didn't have any chilli... but found some good places to attend after the Reds game.  Nice baseball park.

Find a nice place to stay?

I've been to Cinci once; but really thought the folks down there were fun as heck to hang with.
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

Stayed at Millenium.. too pricey, but downtown and walking distance to the park.

Whenever I go to Cincy, I stay in Covington, KY, just across the river.  Prices are usually better and a small cab ride over.  Be careful which cab you get into though, some will drop you off on the bridge then dare enter Ohio, and vice versa.  You have to ask if they go there.  Right down by the stadium is a dive bar called Madonna's that we go to.  It is the only "non-tourist" place down there that I could find.
