Good Luck to all the Wisconsin wrestlers.  Cadet Greco starts tomorrow, Jr freestyle starts Thursday morning.  I cant wait to get there

bigdawg

Good to see a few guys in the semi's from Wisconsin! The boys wrestled really tough today.

EIUwrestler1

It looks like Acosta, Nutter, Bergelin, Peak are all undefeated and guaranteed AA, several more still in the running

3wrestle

Good luck to all the WI wrestlers! Looks like a couple in the finals and placers! Awesome job!

EIUwrestler1

after a quick glance
Peak and Nutter in the finals
Bergelin going for 3rd
Dow and Murtyand Acosta for 5th
Eric Barnett and Kleuver wrestling for 7th

8 All americans

sorry if I missed anyone

DocWrestling

I see they are using a new bracket format and seem to have seeded more wrestlers.

Curious how the seeding criteria went and How Breske got seeded so low?   Am I missing something with what "level" each guy is ranked or seeded at?
Of Course, this is only my opinion and no one elses!

Jimmy

Looks like Wisconsin men did real well. Didn't notice any 0-2,lots with four or five matches

boowrestle

Top 4 seed at Fargo, wouldn't really consider that low for somebody that didn't win state past yr,and yes I know about his past accomplishments,my guess is that they used last season results for seeding. My guess is that it will all play out.Go Bucky!!
you can run but you cannot hide.

hornbuckleb

They do not seed at Fargo but rather use a separation criteria.  Doc and Boo sometimes you scare me :-X

Wrestlers are separated by criteria above and state then randomly drawn by track.  1 opposite side of bracket of say another 1 and then 2,2..etc

Wrestlers are separated by criteria above and state then randomly drawn by track.  1 opposite side of bracket of say another 1 and then 2,2..etc

Example:
If 5 wrestlers have earned separation point allocations then technically those individuals will be separated similar to seeding, but only those five.  Any wrestler without separation point allocations are randomly drawn and assigned.

Breske will just have to beat them all no matter what his seed is to win it all ! He's very capable of doing just that. Good luck to all our Wisconsin competitors.

DocWrestling

Wasn't Breske a Cadet National Champ last year?  Doesn't that make him a Level 4 on Juniors?   Why does it say he is level 6?
Of Course, this is only my opinion and no one elses!
