I know someone asked this before, but why exactly didn't WI send a team to OK this year? Seems odd not having our wrestlers out there representing.

The reasoning was explained in a letter that was released on the WWF web site on October 8th, 2012:

3) Not participating in Cadet and Junior duals. This was a tough decision but we believe the timing of the duals did not allow an adequate recovery time for our athletes.  Instead we will attend Fila Cadet Nationals, Northern Plains Juniors and Central Plain Juniors and Cadets as a team.

I know that these are major changes and change is always hard!  I truly believe these changes will show stronger results for Team Wisconsin in Fargo and in the long term development of our athlete members.

Illinois lineup for greco and freestyle is just exceptional.  Their freestyle team is loaded with one tough guy after another.  Did not give up a single point in their last match that I saw.
