Counts as a loss if you are in an individual tournament due to advancement.  In a dual or dual tournament would not count as a loss.

I haven't seen that, I think if you forfeit out (before stepping on the mat) - due to medical or lets say weight (2nd day), it doesn't count.  Example look at 132# at 2012 cheesehead and then look at record later in the year.  I was pretty sure that was how it went down, so I looked again.
