Whitnall Wrestling Coach closing in on 500 dual wins

Closing in on 500: As of Saturday, Whitnall coach John Quinlan, in his 31st year at the school, has amassed 495 dual meet victories. When asked if he thought he'd get to 500 this year, Quinlan said in jest, "I better." Quinlan was inducted into the WWCA hall of fame in 2012 and is the longest-tenured coach in the area. Whitnall finished fourth at the Stech, the team's best finish since 2007 when it finished fourth. Whitnall is off to a 6-5 start in duals.
