Midlands is
ALWAYS December 29, 30. >:(
EVERYONE is just supposed to know that.
What I don't care for: the second day starts at Noon, championships at 8pm. Starte day 2 at 10am like the first day, and championships at 6pm or even 5pm, would sure make it nicer for spectators and participants to get out 2 or 3 hours sooner.
Yeah, that second day is a weird schedule. I think I might go for just the 1st day this year.
Shane Siefert from Whitewater is mentioned. That's awesome.

Well, Siefert stuck McCall - that's good for something. I am surprised that Nazar might pick up a low seed given that he lost to a Badger red-shirt who has yet to make a name for himself at the DI level. If seeds hold, it suggests that Graff and Colon would see each other early in the tourney. That would be interesting...and telling.

Love these seeds, Graff beats Colon in quarters, beats Ramos in semi's, and beats Schopp for champion ;D Any questions? ;D

I think the 1,4 and 5 are on the top half, and the 2 and 3 are on the bottom. If so, Graff will beat Colon, then Schopp, and then Ramos. Right?
4 Isaac Jordan Wisconsin

Very fun! Two former HS teammates may face off. Nick was an AA last year for VT and is RSing this season.
Add RT, Zach Neibert (VT) and Bo (unat) you have five former St P Graham wrestlers at Midlands.
Good times. ;D

I didn't know Siefert wrestled McCall. I recall Dwyer and D. Willis with wins over Timmy but spaced the Siefert match.

So, McCall got stuck by Whitewater's backup 197 pounder?

Siefert did not pin McCall it was Dwyer that pinned McCall in the Dual.
I am excited to see how Chad Johnson will fair against some of the best D1 heavyweights! Kid is dominating D3
Nazar is seeded ot 165 . Seth Liegel beat him a few weeks ago. Is Seth wrestling at Midlands.. I already got my tickets , SECT 104 FRONT ROW !
i think they can have two RS and I know Robinson is one of them. Is Seth the other?
Is Lubeck healthy? I thought he might get the other ticket.
No JT?

No JT?
He has a 10-7 record at this point hard to give him a pre-seed, with that said he deserves one more then the 12th seed Ryan Fillingame but o-well
So, does anyone know what time wrestling starts on Sunday, & is anyone doing live updates, streaming,etc..?

I see this us only a two hour drive for me. If the boys and I came for finals, would tickets be easily gotten?

You can buy tickets for any session at the door. Not a bad seat in the Welsh-Ryan Arena! I predict Bucky,NW and Illini will be battling for 2nd place in what will be a great tournament! See you there WI fans!

And they pull out more (all) bleachers for the finals since they are down to only 3 mats, as compared to 8 mats for the first day.
Tom.
I believe they still use Kriders program so it is not on the internet. Hopefully they will switch to track sometime soon. Badger john we do not know how they are going to set up the mats this year to comply with the 5 foot safety area around all edges of the mat. It will be interesting to see how they set this up. They might have to put two mats in the back gym area where we do weigh inns
I haven't decided if I am going on Sunday or not yet (Packers, obviously important), but I will be there all day on Monday for sure. I definitely want to make it on Sunday. When I am there, if there is interest I can dust off the old twitter account and post badger match updates via twitter.
Anyone know how much tickets cost?
Does anyone know if the brackets are out? Or where to find them?

I don't think they will have the brackets out until after weigh-ins tomorrow. As for finding them online, try the Midlands website (http://www.nusports.com/sports/midlands/).
