I imagine that was the reason he stayed out of WTT. Needed to rest up for Universities. Hopefully that is enough rest for Ty.

Graff went 1-1.  The guy who beat him in a high scoring match lost in the next round therefore denying Tyler the chance for bronze.  Just to be clear, though: this tournament was sooooo not a "University" tournament.  Anyone under age 28 was allowed, and Russia sent their #1's as a tune-up for Worlds.  Our #1's would have probably had the same amount of medals (and probably at the same weights: 74 and 120kg).
