I think 6 Badgers will make it out. Would not be surprised by a low of 4 or a high of 7 though.

I think we can qualify more than 7 !!  Remember, there are 4 wild cards per weight also...

Looks like one win does it for some of the brackets.

Depending on where you are in the bracket, yes. Sounds easy doesn't it  :D

BOURNE

Yup. They will probably make them wrestle the matches though....   :-)

It is easier to try and figure out who will not qualify than who will.  I think we have 7 strong with a very decent possibility of 9.  If we were to name names, McCall is no longer a lock, but I would be surprised is he did not. Lubeck is capable of getting in and is capable of a huge upset to a seeded wrestler.  If Hein is healthy, he is in.  Sure thing or at least likely with Taylor, Graff, Thielke, Jordan, Liegel and Medbery.  Cousins is the only one that is not likely to get in, but only because he has been wrestling below his potential this season. I thought he showed some promise last year.  I know the coaching staff was high on him prior to this year but to say it frankly, has not been getting it done as of late.

I would like to say we will have all 10 advance but when I look at it close I think RT; TG; IJ; CM are solid in. On the fence JT; SL; JH or DI and TM. I would hope at least two of those guys win one and get themselves in. It would be sweet to see the home crowd get into it for them and help them get the little extra needed and the get the wins they need. That leaves 49 and 65. Is it going to be a wrestle off at 49 and 65 to see who goes. I see up side to each one of the four.

tough to do a wrestle off this close to the tournament. They would have to make weight, right? uggh.
