Definitely the most exciting dual I've been to in a very long time.  Great crowd involvement on both sides.

I agree with this 100%.  I was a neutral fan at the meet just to watch some good wrestling.  My only complaint for the entire night was one of Stoughton's coaches was screaming at his wrestler to "pick up the pace" his entire match.  I was tired from watching this kid after the 1st period, and he never let up......I had no idea how he was supposed to pick up the pace  ???  I think he had like 8 takedowns.... ;D

That's a complaint?. :o.....lol that's just great coaching!.ll ;)..I would guess,  that's what his coach was yelling to him all week in the practice room.

Maybe my joke didn't come across right.  The kid was working his tail off and this coach was yelling pick up the pace, the coach kept yelling and the wrestler kept working his tail off, I just got a kick out of the coach.  I was exhausted watching the kid  ;D

nevermind I found it.  milton was missing 2 starters (Garrett and Maxwell) and kids didnt make weight it looks like(113, 160, 170).  Stoughton took advantage and won the key swing matches.  Good luck at state.

Yeah, it's in as a dual meet tournament but with only two teams.  I couldn't find most of them either when I was checking how the others turned out.  They're very easy to get to if you start on the wiaa webpage though.

From the Gazette:

"I don't think we were overconfident. We had some guys that didn't get down to the weights they said they would.

"That will cost you. This is team wrestling, and their team came prepared for weigh-ins. Their team came prepared to wrestle. Their team came prepared to win." - Coach Jauch

I wonder if Shea was supposed to make 113

Or maybe they had some else who was supposed to wrestle 120 who didn't make weight.  I'm fairly certain Nolan makes 113 with ease!

Well apparently not since he didn't make weight to wrestling 113, same with Levi Garrett.  Levi and Nolan were supposed to make weight for 113 and neither of them did so that is why Nolan wrestled Hasselberger and Levi didn't wrestle at all.

Ya, last time they meet, the young Richards from Milton wrestled him tough... ;)..the young nabs. Tough kid, no route about it...I just hope he can keep up with the young man. From LaCrosse....I hope he Wins!
