Does anyone know of something similar to the two sites listed below for wrestling?
https://www.buckys5thquarter.com/pages/scholarship-grid
https://247sports.com/college/wisconsin/Season/2020-Football/Scholarshipdistribution/
I think this would be neat to see.
Although it would be nice to see I don't think you ever will because for NCAA Division I sports, also known as head count sports, men's football, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, tennis and gymnastics, scholarships for college students are always full rides.
It would be easy to make a chart if all we had to know was who was on scholarship. The problem with wrestling is they give out partial scholarships so I don't think you will ever get to see the chart you are hoping for.
Some additional topics to consider:
How do some of the elite programs provide for so many top level recruits if all schools are operating under the same 9.9 rule?
Can UW really compete without an effective RTC?
Do summer camps matter?
Can non-scholarship student athletes work at the summer camps to make up for not getting a scholarship?
Does UW still restrict the number of wrestlers on the roster compared to other schools?
Will UW add Women's wrestling? Would it utilize the same coaching staff? Would they compete during the same season?
