Monday 11/18 is the start of the wrestling season in the Big Rivers.  Should be an exciting year with lots of good wrestling.  Here are the week 1 matchups:

These are the wrestlers that I could find that were all ranked at one point in the second half of the season.  I know I am missing some great up and coming wrestlers.  Please update my list with some "honorable mention" folks that you think will make a big splash in the Big Rivers this year.  Also, please post if you know of anyone not wrestling or incorrect weights for this year.  I know one big name missing from the list is Austin Roberts who placed 3rd at state last year as a Junior at 220.  He suffered a season ending knee injury and is sitting out the wrestling season getting ready to play football for the University of Illinois.  I know we have some tough wrestlers at Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire Memorial.  Please update the thread with names if you have them.  Also, add any freshman that should be mentioned also.

You should add Darius Wright to the watch list.  He is a 3x state qualifier and placed 4th and 5th in Division I.  He recently moved to River Falls.

Darius wrestled 126 at state last year I believe

AJ missed last year after breaking his arm first week of the season last year after working really hard all offseason.  Heard he folded 106 and should be able to make it by the end of the season.

Thought I heard that Jake Roberts had a football injury that may keep him from wrestling.  Not sure, I hope that's not the case.

That's his older brother Austin.  Jake is fine.  Their younger brother Dylan is a freshman this year also.  Great kids from a great family.
