What a joke !!!
You don't have Carter Grewe on this list?? One of the top HWT 9th graders in the Nation, you could argue he should be in the top three of this list. You have 4 or 5 kids on the list that are at the same weight, and a few of them haven't had much success in their last few tournaments.
The kids on this list all do a great job but there are others not on the list do to their size? Because if was about there state or national record they would be on the list.
I wonder if Kleaver or Gable could have made this list?

Freshman Carter Grewe (Abbotsford/Colby) 34-6. Placed 4th at sectional very tough 220 weight class. Wow that was tough bracket. Took out 40-1 Sr in first match. He had #1,2, and 3rd ranked kids in his bracket and a 40-1 Sr, Kid had a great year for freshman @ 220.

These kids were in his bracket.
Ranked #1  Joe Schulte   Prescott   11  (28-3)
Ranked #2  Ryan Larson   St. Croix Central   12  (18-3) Last year state champ
Ranked #3  Jake Rau   Medford 11  (31-2)

Joshua Carroll   SPWE, 40-1, 12

He seemed to be a great freshman this year. However, knowing that Abbotsford/Colby was a stretch to win regionals, why wouldn't he have looked ahead and seen that his 220 bracket was going to be stacked and just wrestled 285 at regionals? Looking at that sectional, he most certainly would have qualified for state at 285.

Some kids are not looking for the easy route.

A/C did have a 285, maybe he didn't want to push out a teammate.

Another reason may be had he gotten through this sectional at 220, he may have had a better shot at winning state at 220 vs. 285. In my opinion 220 is more up in the air than 285.
