I just noticed that fischer was at 106. That will make it even more interesting. I think he will beat Grybowski at sectionals. Anderson is the defending champ back at the same weight. The way he stormed back in the finals last year after giving an early lead to Kilty, He has to be my pick.

Did Cal Hansen lose a match last week that he dropped in the rankings?

Cal Hansen injury defaulted out of the finals match against Kolbe Ubersox then came back and wrestled back.

Cannot believe no one mentions Tate Murty at 132, #1 ranked kid most of the year, I have seen him wrestle several times this year....he deserved it!! He will be on the podium, if not the top, when it is all said and done. No, I have no connection to him. I have seen a few of the others mentioned also.
Good luck to everyone in the next few weeks, going to be fun!!

DarkKnight

Even though ranked #1, Tate Murty is still an underdog to Hansen. He can take them though, Hansen is just a popular pick being a Senior and a 3 time state place winner and last years runner up at 132.

Hansen must be weak from cutting weight, so yes Murty has a chance as good as Hansen or Schlegel, and there a few other underdogs at this weight.... Some studs will be left off the podium, but thats what happens often at state.

Well you may be absolutely correct however I will admit my projections where some what of a WAG and based on familiarity.

Bluebird2

Not bad predictions, I will go with 106: Anderson, 145: tollefsen, 160: schlough, 182: palmer, as my revisions to your list.

All good picks guys, didn't mean to infer otherwise, but thought i would stir it up a little! :):) My favorite time of year! Again, good luck guys! I enjoy all of your postings and insights!

DarkKnight

Well, with Hansen being supposedly slightly injured, Murty should be considered the favorite, with a few on his heels, like Schlegel. That is obviously going to be a good one.

I'm not sure on the severity of Hansen's injury, but we'll find out soon enough.
