Definitely an injustice. I guess the best thing to do here is just tell the 4th ranked wrestler to stay home. No need to wrestle out the bracket just take the top 3 ranked kids because ranking are always correct. What's strange is I know in another weight class in a different regional a kid is ranked 5th behind a kid (ranked 3rd) who the 5th ranked wrestler has beaten all 3 times this year?  But that kid placed at state last year and so it goes.

Yes, who are you talking about?? Even the ranking staff misses matches. i know they dont get paid and they cant possibly look at every match that happens. Let me know so i can alert the staff.

I Hope the LC boys will be prepared, they can knock off the champs if they bring it. The most decorated D2 Teams will be going at it again. Its a good rivalry, i just feel like wanting LC to win this time.

If both teams survive ind. state without too many injuries this could be (another) one for the ages. They represent two sides of the state. Makes it a hoot every time. I like Ells. but I live in the west. I guess I better enjoy round 1 first.

I met Lucius Rinehart (195 Evansville) today, he's in the finals tonight, undefeated so far.  Sometimes kids just impress me, it's that first impression thing, seemed liked a great kid, respectful & humble.  I wish him well tonight.  With all the bashing going on lately just thought I'd throw out something positive that happens in our sport and at the state tournament too.
